Distilled at the Macallan distillery in Speyside, this release is Decade IV as part of the James Bond 60th Anniversary series released in 2022. Decade III saw the arrival of Timothy Dalton as the fourth actor to play the title character. The packaging is adorned with imagery from Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only, and the whisky has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in oak casks, before being bottled at a strength of 43.7% abv.

Fresh and vibrant notes of lemon and lime, a sprinkle of sherbet, leading into a sweet vanilla and coconut, with a hint of dried fig and raisin.

Palate

Orange zest and fizzy sherbet with a lemon freshness, gentle oak and subtle ginger spice, leading into a deep dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with a honey drizzle.

Finish

Sweet and long with complex layers.
